We all carry inside of us one of the most destructive forces on the planet.  A force that's so terrible that it can eat through us like a cancer.  And yet it's far more ravaging than cancer because of its ability to spread, mutate and infect those around us.  We have all had it to one degree or another.  The symptoms sometimes include depression, anxiety, rage, anger, hatred, suicidal thoughts, contempt, envy, bitterness and more.  It can even lead to high blood pressure, migraines, ulcers and every other disease known to man. 

Do you know what it is? 

Resentment is the answer and culprit of this somewhat unusual holiday reflection .but why?

With recent world events and our nation's economic struggles, we're living in extremely volatile times.  It's so easy to find something or someone to resent.  Perhaps it's an evil corporation profiting from ill gotten gain, a politician you strongly oppose or even a relative that sees the world differently from you.  Speaking to us Realtors, it could be a bad lender, a previous broker or another colleague that has unintentionally or deliberately offended you. 

During this holiday season it's truly our hope and prayer that all of us will take time to reflect, forgive and fully release any resentment we may hold that could adversely affect our health, our wealth and those we love.
